Oral Surgeries

Bone Graft

Patients with a tooth loss, gum disease or trauma might lose some of their jawbones. Reduced bones decrease the support of the patient’s appearance and makes the face look prematurely aged.

Bone grafting is a procedure done to restore lost bones and maintain the facial bone structure which is required for dental implant placement. Similarly, it supports the skin and muscles that are responsible for the person cosmetic appearance.

Smile Infinity clinics use Easy-Graft products which are bioresorbable, completely synthetic bone graft substitutes for bone defect. It is directly applied into the bone defect and the material hardens within minutes and forms a stable, porous bone substitute material and due to the porosity of the material the absorption of blood is possible and thus positively increase the healing process.

Gum Graft

Patient might consider gum graft if their tooth is over exposed, this can happen mainly due to aggressive teeth brushing, and periodontal disease which leads to root sensitivity, tooth decay, loss of supporting bones, plaque build-up, risk of future recession and unattractive smile.

Gum grafting restores gum tissue by retrieving soft tissue from the top of the mouth leading to a healthy gum tissue that protects teeth from sensitivity, periodontal diseases, and preventing root exposure while providing a beautiful smile contour”

Orthognathic Surgery

Some cases cannot be treated with braces or any orthodontic treatment. Therefore, we reach out to orthognathic treatment which is a surgery that corrects the jaw and face structural condition, it treats growth and sleep apnea, and TMJ disorders by correcting orthodontic problems

1. Apertognathia: a situation when the back teeth meet but the front teeth do not touch. This space causes difficulty in biting with the front teeth.

2. Prognathia: a situation where the lower jaw is too large and grows too far forward. Surgery can be used to slide the lower jaw back.

3. Retrognathia: a situation where there is a "severe" overbite. This situation is managed with surgery and orthodontics together.

Crown Lengthening

Crown Lengthening technique improves the teeth length to subsequently restore the tooth prosthetically. The procedure is done by incising the gingival tissue around the tooth, displacing the soft tissue and predictably removing a given height of alveolar bone from the circumference of the tooth by using one of the most advanced technology which is the WaterLase technology which prevents swelling, and sutures, provides faster healing process, less bleeding, less time in the dental chair, and less post-operative pain and patients can see the results immediately.
